Learning how to write letters using play-doh is so much fun. Every student got to make their own letter as they learn how to roll the play-doh into long snakes. We use a big line and 3 little lines to make the letter E.

Great Expectations celebration
For the second year in a row Wilson has achieved being a Model school of Great Expectations. To celebrate we decided to give back to the community by having a great day full of Literacy fun. Every grade planned an activity for all preschoolers in the community and our Pre-k students got the best part. Here are some pictures to share the fun.
Pre-k students went around the school creating crafts and listening to older students read to them.
In Kindergarten we got to experience some Nursery Rhymes
Glitter is always fun
It was fun to see how proud students would be helpers.
Story time is priceless
