Apex fun run

We had our Fun Run where kids got to race around the track We had a great time. 

Open House

Open house was so much fun. We did lots of activities that related to a Dr. Seuss books. We read Green Eggs and ham which was a favorite for most kids. We then made our own version of green eggs. We first brain stormed on how we can get green eggs! Mrs. Lozano is a great cook.

We then voted to see who liked green eggs and who didn't. 

We read The Cat in The Hat and made some great rhymes, The Foot Book was a fantastic book to learn about opposites. 

At last we read "I can read with my eyes shut". 

The 3 little Pigs

We are learning about wind and how some objects will blow away and some won't. We read several versions of the 3 little pigs and discussed how the wolf was abel to blow some houses down so we experimented and build some structures that we got to test.

We worked in teams to test each structure.

Valentines party

TWe had a great Valentines party with lots of parents visiting the class. It was priceless seing kids excited to give oyt their cards and show off their box. Thank you parents who helped out.

Imagination

Children in Pre-k are always using their imagination creating and building great projects with tools, boxes and blocks. We read a book called "Not a Box"then children got a chance to use their imagination and pretend that their box is something special.

We are going out of space


The new center in pretend and play is our construction site where children build and repair things with the use of real and toy tools.

100 day of school

Kids had a good time counting and organizing their 100 items to count by tens.
