Geo boards

Today  some children  got to experiment with our geo boards. They made some great designs using rubber bands.

 

Measuring

What a great day! We are learning how to measure our puppets with non standard units. The kids had a blast cooperating to find out which one was the tallest.  

centers time in Pre-k

Centers are always a great way for children to socialize and learn how to share and get along with others.
Play and pretend center is always busy with a pretend house for children to get a chance to be an adult in a child's world. This center is all about learning how to take care of each other and the environment.
Other popular center is the building blocks where we can build a tower or a train track. The possibilities

are endless here.

First week of school

What an amazing week we've had, so many new faces and so many smiles. The kids are adjusting great to their new school and classroom. 
We are learning each other's name by singing songs like "Tickle tickle bumble bee" and how to greet each other shaking hands and smiling.
We've enjoyed touring the school looking for Pete the Cat while he rocked the school in his new shoes. 
We've made many new friends at school this week. We are looking forward to meeting all of our parents next Thursday for Curriculum night.

Que semana tan divertida hemos tenido, con muchas caras nuevas y muchas sonrisas. Los ninos se están ajustando muy bien a su nueva escuela y salon. 
Estamos aprendiendo los nombres de todos cantando canciones y saludando a los demás con un apretón de manos y con una sonrisa en la cara.
Nos estamos divirtiendo mucho con Pete el gato, cantando sus canciones y buscandolo por todo el plantel. 
Estamos haciendo muchos amigos en poco tiempo. 
Recuerden que el jueves es la noche curricular, nos encantaria que vengan a visitar.
